On January 15, 2019, the Milton Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary recognized students from H O Brittingham Elementary, Milton Elementary, Mariner Middle and Delmarva Christian @ Milton Campus for placing in the Fire Prevention Essay/Poster Contest. This state-wide contest is held every year and Milton has prided itself on always having great representation at not only the local level but both County and State levels. This year, it was a ‘sweep’ for Mariner Middle as we had a winner for each grade at the county level and two of those students placed at the State level. Pictured below are the three students from Mariner who placed at the county level and attended the County Fire Prevention Awards Ceremony in Nov 2018. Carly Favoroso representing 6th grade, Gage Joseph representing 7th grade and Aiden Ackaway representing 8th grade. Congratulations to all the winners from each school and we look forward to the poster/essay contest this coming Fall.
