Just prior to the 11 o'clock hour, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 for a MVC at the intersection of Cave Neck Rd. & Hudson Rd. 85 Command responded shortly after dispatched and arrived to find a two vehicle MVC with two patients. Deputy Chief Hopkins immediately requested an additional BLS unit from Lewes Fire Department to respond. Crews from Engine-Tanker 85-2, Engine 5, and the Rescue secured the vehicles and removed debris from the roadway. Crews also assisted the BLS units as needed with loading patients. B-85 and E-82 transported one each to Beebe. Deputy Hopkins placed the scene under control and cleared all units.
