At 0249 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 for an outside fire at the above address.  85 Command responded at 0252 with Assistant Chief Clendaniel.  Sussex reported that a passerby reported an unknown outside fire.  85-18 (Reynolds) arrived just ahead of Command to find a fully involved house on the ground.  Command arrived and advised the same, holding the box to the 85 units.  Engine 4 arrived on scene and advanced an attack line to protect exposures.  Ladder 85 secured a hydrant and layed into the scene, placing an additional attack line and their ladder pipe inservice to extinguish the fire.  Crews remained on scene hitting hot spots.
