MFD Life Member Allen Jackson was selected to be the Irish Eyes Saint Patrick’s Day parade Grand Marshal.  You may see Allen around the community running in fire gear with an American flag with the goal of completing 343 miles by 9/11/26  in honor of the 343 firefighters that lost their lives as a result of the Twin Towers terrorist attacks in New York City on 9/11/01. This year marks the 25 year anniversary of the attacks, and Jackson plans to reach his goal on 9/11 at a 5K event in New York City.
