Just prior to the 4 o'clock hour, Sussex ECC alerted Station 85 for a vehicle on fire on Coastal Hwy. (SR 1) south of Broadkill Rd. (SR 16).  Asst. Chief Millman was in the area and responded to the scene, finding a crossover style vehicle fully involved.  Squad 85 arrived and placed a front bumper line inservice for fire extinguishment.  Fire Police provided traffic control during the incident.  Units responding, 85-16, Squad 85, Engine 85, B-85, DSFP, DSP.
