Outside Fire

Just after the 3 o'clock hour, Milton was alerted for a woods fire at the above address.  Engine 85-4 responded with Asst. Chief Clendaniel as officer.  Soon after responding, Chief Clark (85-15) arrived to find several acres on fire.  Chief Clark immediately contacted the Station and requested the Tanker.  Chief Clark also requested a brush piece assist from Georgetown (77).  Engine 4 arrives and the crew pulled an inch and a half along with a booster line to begin extinguishment.  Engine 5 and 85-00 was assigned to the Southeast side of the fire and began extinguishment on that end.  Tanker 85, and Brush 77 assisted the crew of 85-4 while Tanker 77 provided water supply to the Southeast units.  Chief Clark placed the scene under control at 1554 with units remaining on scene until 1628 hitting hot spots.  Ellendale (75) provided a cover-up at Milton's station throughout the incident.
