Today around 18:45 Milton Fire along with Ellendale Fire, Georgetown Fire, and SCEMS were dispatched to Mail Sail Dr for an appliance fire. CAR-85 arrived to find a two story single family with smoke showing. Engine-85 arrived, forward laid from Mulberry St and assumed the first due engine assignment. Engine-75 arrived as the second engine and secured Engine-85's hydrant. Shortly after Engine-85 officer advised the fire was knocked with minor extension into the residence and reccomended under control. Assistant Chief B.Millman commanded the incident.
