Milton is hiring an additional full time Firefighter-EMT.  The open shift is 24 hours on with 72 hours off, with opportunities for overtime.  Starting pay is $21.00 per hour during probation (90 days) with an raise to $21.50 per hour upon a favorable evaluation.  To apply, submit a resume, copy of your drivers license, emergency vehicle operators license, NREMT card, State of Delaware EMT card, CPR card, your fire school transcript and any other fire or EMS training documentation, and a copy of your driving record that encompasses the last 3 years.  Information accepted until June 27, 2025 at 1600.  Testing and interviews will take place in early July with an anticipated start date of August 4, 2025.  It is anticipated the new hire will work an admin / training week (week of Aug. 4) and transition to the 24/72 shift on August 11.  (This is subject to change).  Any questions can be directed to Skip Millman, Chief of EMS, at [email protected]
