At 1703 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 along with Ambulance 93, Medic 108, and Trooper 2 for a MVC with entrapment at the intersection of Gravel Hill Rd & Shingle Point Rd. Chief Harvey arrived first in 85 Command to find a two vehicle accident with two patients, and one was trapped. Engine-Tanker 85-2 arrived at 1713, stabilized the vehicle, and began extrication. Rescue 85 arrived a short time later and assisted with extrication. Crews made quick work of the cut job, extricating the patient in 6 minutes. Ambulance 85 and 93 both transported patients to Beebe. The intersection was shut down for a short time while crews cleaned up and DSP investigated. Chief Harvey has 85 Command.
