Just prior to the 8 o'clock hours, Station 85 was alerted for a vehicle accident with possible entrapment at the intersection of Lewes-Georgetown Hwy. & Hudson Rd. Captain Matt Cranford (85-21) who lives nearby arrived on scene within a minute to find a two vehicle accident with one patient heavily entrapped. Captain Cranford established command and requested an additional rescue company from Lewes Fire Dept. (82). Crews from Milton and Lewes extricated the patient to awaiting EMS providers at 0808 hours. Two patients were transported to Beebe Hospital. Crews remained on scene a short time assisting DSP with traffic and their investigation.
