Monday Janurary 3rd at 13:52 Sussex EOC alerted Milton Fire Dept along with Memorial Fire Dept, Lewes Fire Dept, Ellendale Fire Dept, and SCEMS ME101 for a residential fire on Wildflower Ln off of Coastal Hwy. 85-8 arrived to find a two story single family home with smoke showing from the charlie side and 85-18 Assistant Chief Millman established 85 command. Enigne-Tanker 89-5 arrived as the first due engine and strected a 200ft line to the charlie side for extigushment. Engine 85-4 arrived as the second due engine and strected a back line through the front door. Multiple other units arrived and completed various fire ground duties. There was one firefighter injury on scene which resulted in a patinet refusal. Approxemitly 40 minutes after dispatch command placed the scene under control and returned units as they became avaiable.
