Just after shift change, crews from Station 85 were alerted for a MVC on Sand Hill Rd. in the area of Tobacco Rd. Ambulance 85 and 85-8 with Captain Millman responded shortly after dispatch. A-85 arrived on scene to find a two vehicle MVC with four patients, one who was ALS. A-85 immediately requested a medic unit to assist. Hearing the report from A-85, Captain Millman immediately requested an additional BLS ambulance to assist. 85-8 arrived shortly after to confirm a two vehicle MVC with a "cut job" in one of the vehicles. Engine 5 arrived next and made quick work of the extrication. 85-00 and Rescue 85 also assisted on scene. A-85 and B-85 both transported patients and B-93 (Georgetown EMS) obtained two refusals.
