On Nov 26 th , the County fire prevention winners were acknowledged in Laurel Delaware for the 2019 Fire Prevention Poster/Essay contests. Station 85 was very proud to have 5 students place in the top three for the award ceremony this year.
K - McKinley Adams, 3rd overall in County and 1st place award for Milton Elementary 2nd Grade - Fiona Fisher, 3rd overall in County and 1st place award for Milton Elementary 5th Grade - Ashley Preston, 1st place in County and 1st place award for H.O. Brittingham 7th Grade - Charlotte Bjorklund, 2nd place in County and 1st place award for Mariner Middle 8th Grade - Alexandra Cleaver, 2nd place in County and 1stplace award for Mariner Middle We want to thank Milton Elementary, H.O. Brittingham, Delmarva Christian@Eagles Nest and Mariner Middle for allowing their students to participate each year in this state wide program. Congratulations to all the winners!! We will hold an awards ceremony in January 2020 to recognize the top 3 winners for each grade from each school.
