Just prior to the 2 o'clock hour, Sussex County EOC alerted Station 85 for a residential structure fire at 312 Mulberry St., within the town limits of Milton. Chief Harvey (85-15) was in the area and responded to the scene. Just as Engine Tanker 85-2 was responding, and as Chief Harvey was arriving on scene, Sussex EOC upgraded the box for smoke in the structure, and added Ellendale (75), Georgetown (77), Georgetown EMS (93) and SCEMS to the response. Engine Tanker 85-2 arrived just after Chief Harvey, with their own hydrant. Chief Harvey requested crews check the building and he believed there was an electical fire in the walls. Engine Tanker 2's crew quickly opened up exterior and interior walls near an electrical outlet that was found on fire. Crews were able to contain the fire with a water can within two minutes. Chief Harvey scaled the incident back to the 85 units for smoke removal. Crews remained on scene checking the walls again and removing debris.
