Shortly after lunch, Asst. Chief Foster (75-16) was on his way through the 85 local when he came upon a vehicle on fire on Morris Ave. Extended behind the Food Lion Shopping Center.  Chief Foster communicated the incident to the Sussex County EOC who alerted Station 85 for the response.  Engine-Tanker 85-2 under the direciton of Captain Betts responded with a crew of five and were advised the vehicle was fully involved.  Chief Harvey (85-15) arrived on scene POV and assumed Command.  Command advised Engine-Tanker 2 to stop short and deploy the front bumper foam line for extinguishment.  Crews from the Engine-Tanker made quick work of the fire, knocking it within a few minutes.  Chief Harvey placed the scene under control and cleared the units when ready.
