On 10-24-16, President Johnny Hopkins, along with Chief JR Clark, and Chief Engineer Sammy Argo signed the contract for a new Engine/Tanker. Engine/Tanker 85-2 will be a 2017 Spartan Gladiator truck, with a 2500 gallon tank and a 2000 GPM pump. The truck will be an eight (8) man cab with medical equipment compartment in the climate controlled cab. The truck will carry varying length of 1 1/2" and 2" attack line, along with three and five in supply line. The truck will also carry extrication tools, struts, and airbags for vehicle accidents, and a full compliment of ropes and RIT equipment.
