Just prior to 2200 hours, as firefighter Paul Caras III was traveling home, he notice a vehicle on fire at the above location. Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 at 2153 hours. Engine 85-4 and 85-5 arrived on scene at 2159 hours finding a vehicle with a fire in the engine compartment. Both crews made quick work of the fire, cancelling the other responding units. DSP was also on scene to investigate. No injuries were reported. Asst. Chief Clendaniel (85-18) had Command. Units responding, 85-4, 85-5, Rescue 85, 85-8, 85-00, B-85, DSP, DSFP.
