Tuesday April 10,2012 At 12:55 P.M. Milton Fire Dept. was dispatched to a deck on fire at 18200 Pettyjohn rd. The caller upon getting closer to the house realized the house was on fire. At this time the call was redispatched bringing assistance from Georgetown & Lewes Fire Deptments and a unit from the Sussex County Paramedics. Upon arrival of the first units from Milton the house was reported to be well involved. All units operated under the direction Milton Asst. Chief Derrick Harvey. The Fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office.
