At 1545 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Gravel Hill Rd. & Sand Hill Rd. Chief Harvey (85-15) arrived on scene within minutes to find a two vehicle MVC with three patients. Chief Harvey immediately requested ALS and additional ambulances. Engine Tanker 85-2 arrived and were tasked with securing the vehicles, debris clean up, and assisting BLS providers with patient care and packaging. Ambulances 85, 75, and 93 all transported patients to Beebe. The intersection remained closed for a brief period while DSP investigated and cleared the scene.
