On todays date at 2354 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Sta. 85, Ambulance 82 (Lewes), and SCEMS Medic 108 for a MVC on Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., e/o Harbeson Rd. 85-11 responded with Lieutenant Millman as duty officer, and was advised by EOC of a single vehicle accident with possibly two patients. Lieutenant Millman arrived to find two vehicles with heavy damage and assumed 85-Command. Command found a total of five (5) patients on scene and requested two additional BLS. Ambulance 82 arrived and quickly triaged the patients finding one ALS, three BLS patients, and a refusal. Engine 85-5 arrived followed by Rescue-85. Those units were put to work cleaning debris, securing each vehicle, and assisting EMS as needed with patient care. Amblances 82 and 93 both transported one patient while Amblance 91 transported two patients. Command placed the scene under control and turned it over to DSP.
