At 0910, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 and Sussex County EMS for a MVC, vehicle reported in the water with entrapment on Coastal Highway @ the Broadkill River. Engine 85-4 responded at 0912 and was advised the same. Asst. Chief Carey (85-19) arrived on scene a minute later to find a single vehicle over the guardrail and into the woods. Asst. Chief confirmed there was no entrapment. Crews from Engine 4 and the Rescue secured the vehicle while EMS crews tended to the patients. Asst.
