On February 20, 2016 at 1400 hours, family members of Richard "Yogi" Wright and William "Bill" Wright Sr., met at Station 85 for the presentation of a plaque commemorating the many years of loyal and dedicated service given by the Wright brothers. "Yogi" served Milton Fire Department Inc. for 54 years before his passing on January 12, 2012, and Bill served for 61 years before his passing on February 7, 2015. Carol and Clarke Droney also presented Milton Fire Department with a donation in memory of the Wright brothers on behalf of the entire Wright family. The plaque and donation were accepted by the members of teh Board of Directors of the Milton Fire Department Inc. The board and membership of the Milton Fire Department Inc. express sincere gratitude to the Wright family for the donation and the plaque, but more importantly, for sharing the brothers throughout the many years of dedicated and faithful service they provided to the Milton Fire Department Inc. and the community that we serve.
