At 1111 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 and Station 75 for a house fire in the 500 block of Main Street in Ellendale. Engine-Tanker 75-8 was the first unit to arrive on scene with smoke showing. The crew from Engine 75-8 advanced handlines into the structure and began extinguishment. Engine 85-3 arrived next and supplied 75-8. Engine 3s crew was sent in to assist the interior crews. Ladder 85 and 75-2 arrived next and were put to work on roof operations. Other responding units provided manpower and water supply throughout the operations. Command placed the situation under control and cleared all units when ready. Units responding, 75-8, 75-2, A-75, 85-3, 85-5, Ladder 85, Tanker 85, Rescue 85, 42-5, Medic 101, DSFP and DSFM.
