At 1250 hours, Station 85 was alerted for a gas leak at the above address. Engine 85-4 responded at 1253 hours under the direction of Asst. Chief Clendainel. Engine 4 arrived on scene and noted a strong smell of propane in the area. Crews laid a supply line into the area and advanced a handline for protection. Crews investigated and found a strong odor of propane and high levels in the two residences at the entrance to Sundance Lane. Command requested Poores to the scene to shut off the gas. Poores arrived and related that they isolated the line. Crews ventilated the effected homes. Command placed the scene under control and turned it over to Poores. All units cleared.
