Tonight, after a long day of training, and taking in multiple calls, the Duty Crew from 85, consisting of approximately 15 members and family, decided to break for dinner at one of the local businesses. Just after crews sat down and ordered, an alarm was transmitted for a Rescue Assist the ambulance on a medical call. Crews assisted the ambulance crew and returned to dinner. While at dinner, the crew broke bread, laughed and joked, and discussed the training and calls of the day. As crews were preparing to pay the bill and return to the Station, our waitress notified us that an anonymous patron of the establishment had already paid our bill and our tip. The Officers and Members of the Milton Fire Department, especially those present, would like to give our sincere thanks to the person(s) who did this. It just goes to show you that the Community sticks together and takes care of one another. Thank you again.
