At Approximately 1:25pm Station 85 was alerted to a serious vehicle accident on Broadkill Road near Reynolds Road. The driver of a small passenger vehicle was traveling West-bound when her vehicle drifted onto the shoulder of the road and collided with a parked tractor trailer. A-85 and 85 Command arrived shortly after to find one patient in serious condition. A landing zone was established and Trooper 2 transported the patient to Christiana Hospital. The responding units were 85 Command, A-85, 85-5, Rescue 85, 85-11, DSP, DSFP, Trooper 2, Medic 101, DNREC HM-1 and 83-9.
